Join us for an elegant night beneath the stars with food, wine, dancing, gaming, a silent auction and more!

The Vintage “Farewell to the Swallows” is an annual celebration hosted by the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce to bid farewell to the famous, small swallows as they depart on their long flight to their winter home in Goya, Argentina. Flying at a speed of 23 mph, it will take these courageous birds 60 days to complete their journey.

Experience the beauty of Mission San Juan Capistrano at night as you walk the Mission grounds, listening to the live music and enjoying some of the finest foods and wine from local restaurants and wineries. Gourmet food from 25 different restaurants and wine tastings from 25 exceptional wineries will be served. Many won’t be able to ignore the dance floor as the popular band Swing Shift will be our live entertainment for the evening. As always, there will be a silent auction with baskets overflowing with goodies from generous donors and gaming tables will be set up for those that wish to try their luck at the tables.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce, a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting a local commerce in San Juan Capistrano, and Mission San Juan Capistrano, the jewel of the California Missions.
