Multicultural Arts Series - Huayucaltia

Huayucaltia's mission is to transcend national, cultural and political barriers through their music.

By playing indigenous and contemporary instruments, their compositions strive to blend their traditions and dreams, styles and innovations as faithfully and respectfully as they can.  Their inspiration comes from their personal experiences in their homelands, traveling and while living, studying and working in the USA.

Huayucaltia was the first band to play for MAS and has graced the stage in the courtyard many times since.
